Zero Tolerance Policy

YapYap has a strict, absolute zero-tolerance policy for any content that depicts, encourages, or promotes child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We are committed to keeping our platform safe and actively work to remove any such material and the users responsible for it.

1. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

We rely on both automated systems and our community to keep YapYap safe. If you encounter any content or user behavior that you believe violates our child safety policies or depicts CSAE, please report it immediately.

You can report concerns directly to our Trust & Safety team by emailing:
yapyapapp@outlook.com

When reporting, please include as much detail as possible, such as the username, the specific content in question, and when you observed the violation. We treat all reports with the highest priority and review them urgently.

2. Moderation Practices

We employ a comprehensive approach to content moderation to detect and prevent CSAE and other harmful content:

  • AI Moderation: All audio content uploaded to YapYap is transcribed and analyzed by advanced AI systems (including AWS Transcribe and AWS Comprehend) to detect hate speech, harassment, grooming behavior, and policy violations.
  • Strike System: Users who violate minor community guidelines receive strikes. However, this system does not apply to severe violations.
  • Immediate Bans: Any involvement in CSAE, grooming, or sharing exploitative material bypasses our standard strike system resulting in an immediate, permanent, and irreversible ban from the platform.

3. Law Enforcement Cooperation

We do not simply ban offenders; we actively work with authorities to protect children.

If our Trust & Safety team detects CSAE content on the platform, we are legally mandated to, and will readily, report the incident and share the offending user's data with the appropriate law enforcement agencies and organizations such as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, or relevant authorities globally. We fully cooperate with all legal investigations into such matters.

4. Age Requirements

YapYap is not intended for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not permit users under 13 to create accounts. If we discover that an account belongs to a user under the age of 13, it will be immediately closed and all associated data will be deleted in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

5. Contact Information
